In this video, we bring you Salida Shipping Container Home with Awesome Views Set in the Colorado Rockies, United States. This is an ultimate Colorado vacation experience. Two miles from bustling downtown Salida, but a million miles from reality nestled in the foothills of Methodist Mountain with striking views of the Collegiate Peaks. This elevated container house with stunning mountain views was built with emphasis on sustainability and ecological design from the onset. It includes modern high end appliances, smart home features, and modern charm. This amazing home is built from three shipping containers placed in parallel side by side to create 960 square feet of a luxury guesthouse. The containers sit on concrete pier foundation strategically elevated a few metres off the ground to capture all the amazing views the idyllic setting. The elevated position of the foundation also creates an ideal height to construct an outdoor deck which wraps around the front of the building overlooking the valley and the hilly mountains.
